 Based on a strong recommendation from a close contractor friend, I had high expectations when we first met to work on our kitchen remodel. I was not disappointed as you and your team exceeded my expectations in nearly every aspect of the project. Your ability to help us with the design and visualization of our plans was critical to the success of the project. I also appreciated your patience as we worked through several schedule and design changes. The cabinets look fantastic, and really changed our kitchen, dining, family room into a classy place. Further, somehow we lost cabinet space (by putting in a double oven and a range hood) but gained in efficiency to the point that we now have two empty drawers. We have had your workmanship in our home for about 2 years now and we get many compliments on the beauty and the detailed handiwork. Although the cherry cabinets are stunning, that is not the reason for my writing. We have 5 children and 2 very active boys ages 2 and 4. They have mastered the art of drawing on walls, and most recently our cherry wood desks that your company installed. After many failed attempts at cleaning the permanent ink from the finish, I called you and asked you for a professional opinion on how best to remove the many marks from the black Sharpie pen. You recommended finger nail polish remover, at which I thought would ruin the beautiful satin finishes that adorn our built-in desks. I threw caution to the wind thinking I would eventually have the desk removed and refinished at your shop. With nothing to lose, I thought I would try your suggestion before I encumbered the expense of removing the desk and having it refinished at your mill. Well, much to my surprise the permanent marker came completely off with the finger nail polish remover and left no signs of the previous damage. The finishes that you use are surprisingly durable to be able to stand up to the abuses of 5 young children. The ink is completely gone and the desk unharmed even after applying the solvent as a cleaner. I am extremely happy at the quality of the work and the finishes product that you left behind in our home. I know the solvent I used would have destroyed any finish other than the one you applied. We are very happy that we selected your company. I would have paid a substantial amount of money to have my desk refinished if we would have selected any other cabinetmaker here in the Salt Lake Valley. Quality really does shine through, the more duress it encounters. I commend you on your finished product, workmanship and integrity even 2 years after the installation. A few years ago our family outgrew our kitchen and we decided to remodel. We wanted to have a lot of storage space and thus a lot of cabinets. Woodcraft Mill was recommended to us by a friend. He had just done a remodel and loved his new cabinets. He also raved about working with Dave Hall. Dave came to our house with his computer and spent some time getting
to know us and our needs and then he started configuring cabinets
on his computer. It was very informative and helpful to immediately
see some possibilities for cabinets. We had shopped around quite
a bit for a cabinet maker and after meeting with Dave knew that
we would get a top quality product from Woodcraft Mill at a reasonable
price. We had Woodcraft make our cabinets and they were just beautiful.
We went with a natural maple wood. I loved the pull -outs in the
drawers and cupboards and the turntables in the corner cabinets.
A couple of years later we decided to sell our home and build a
new one. When we sold our home the buyer said they fell in love
